Commission Terms & Conditions
Agreeing to these terms and conditions is required before any commission work can commence.
If you have any questions or concerns, then please email me at [email protected].These terms and conditions apply to commissions for personal use.
Commercial work is available upon request.
Payment
The customer is required to pay an upfront deposit equal to 50% of all agreed costs.Failure to pay this deposit within 2 weeks of being invoiced will automatically forfeit the commission.This deposit will not be refunded if the customer decides to cancel their commission.The remaining 50% of agreed cost is required after completion. Digital files will not be sent until this payment has cleared.The customer will be invoiced via email. All payment(s) will be processed via PayPal or Stripe.
Delivery
All commissions are digital creations.The customer will receive their commission(s) via email in the form of a .png or .jpg file after the full payment has cleared.I aim to deliver all design work within 2 weeks of receiving the agreed deposit, however this may not always be possible due to unforeseen circumstances.If the work commissioned has not been completed within 8 weeks (and no other time frame has been agreed), then the customer is entitled to a full refund and the work will be cancelled.Digital files will be kept if possible, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Revisions
The customer may have up to 3 small revisions to the agreed artwork during the creation process.Additional revisions and fundamental changes that increase the complexity and scope of the work will incur extra fees.Extra fees are at my discretion and will be discussed and agreed with the customer before any major changes are made to artwork(s).The customer can request updates and "WIPs" (Work In Progress pieces) of the commission.The customer is encouraged to request updates in order to make proper judgements as to whether revisions are required.I reserve the right to refuse any work which is not pre-agreed at the beginning of the commission process.
Rights and Usage
I am the copyright holder of all artwork(s) created. All OCs (Original Characters) and licensed properties belong to their prospective owners.I reserve the right to share artwork(s), in part or in full, on my social media networks and website for the purpose of promoting my work.The customer has permission to share the completed artwork online, provided they accredit the work to me (Saint Mizu). This can be done using labeling, captioning, and/or tagging.The customer has permission to have the artwork(s) printed in very small quantities for personal consumption/display.Editing the artwork(s), obscuring credit, or misappropriating the work for commercial purposes is a breach of contract.
